ON JULY 24, 2024, Theater Workers will join thousands in Washington, D.C. to surround the US Capitol and issue a People’s Arrest to Netanyahu for his crimes against humanity.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, is responsible for the deaths of over 40,000 Palestinians—with thousands more disappeared and buried under rubble—and the forced displacement and starvation of millions.

Netanyahu’s military continues to terrorize Palestinians not only in Gaza, but in the Occupied West Bank. Among these are our theatrical siblings at The Freedom Theater of Jenin, such as Abed Zubeidi and Mustafa Sheta, who have been taken by the Israeli army and detained without charge. Mustafa Sheta remains imprisoned with no charges or trial.

The International Criminal Court has issued warrants for both Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, the Minister of Defense of Israel. Despite this, the US Government has invited the wanted War Criminal to the US Capitol, as he carries out a genocide against the Palestinian people.
