THEATER WORKERS, TAKE A STAND! MARCH FOR GAZA HAND IN HAND!

ON OCTOBER 5, 2024, as we approach the one year mark of Israel’s genocide on Gaza, Theater Workers will join a coalition of Palestinian groups and others in solidarity for a global day of action.

For over 11 months, and with the backing of the U.S., Israel has committed a horrific assault on the two million Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip. The Gaza Health Ministry recently published a list of names of over 40,000 people killed, and the first fourteen pages were babies under a year old.

When including indirect deaths from starvation, disease, and those buried under rubble, the death toll likely exceeds 186,000, according to a recent article in The Lancet.

Despite these atrocities, the people of Palestine remain steadfast in their resistance—as they have for nearly a hundred years. They’re calling on us to mobilize and show the world that we have not given up and we’re not going anywhere.

As theater artists, we understand the radical potential of ensemble, of joining together as a collective and working towards a common goal. Our goal is clear: a free Palestine within our lifetime.

Join us—channel your anger into action. March for Gaza!

End the occupation. End the apartheid. END THE GENOCIDE!
